Continuing care and support on your journey to recovery
Your journey through recovery doesn't end once you've graduated from a Bellwood residential treatment program. That's why we provide an Aftercare program to ensure you continue to receive the support and guidance you need to rebuild your life. Our research shows 80 per cent of Bellwood clients who participated in the Bellwood Continuing Health and Therapy Program, and at least one other support group were in high recovery after six months of graduating from our residential treatment program.
Our Continuing Health and Therapy Program provides:
- A Recovery Counsellor to help safely guide your transition back to home, work, and community
- Ongoing support through a weekly aftercare group, facilitated by your Recovery Counsellor
- Options for individual counselling sessions
- A specialized Relapse Prevention Group, if needed
- Weekly letters from our team of recovery counsellors with helpful recovery guidance and support
- Ongoing support for a family member through our Family Continuing Recovery Group , facilitated by a Bellwood counsellor
- 24 hour telephone support
For out of town clients we offer:
- Connection with local resources and support groups in your community
- Mini Treatment Programs scheduled throughout the year consisting of two and a half-day refresher courses with relapse prevention education, life skills and group therapy.
- Telephone support from your Recovery Counsellor
- Ongoing support through weekly letters with valuable recovery information.
- 24 hour telephone support
