Treatment - Funded Residential Treatment
Bellwood is licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Health to provide a funded three-week residential treatment program for Ontario residents aged 19 years or older struggling with alcohol addiction. If you have a co-occurring mental health problem that is stabilized, you may also be appropriate for this program. To ensure you receive treatment best suited to your needs, you must undergo a thorough psycho-social and medical assessment.
Our Funded Treatment Program for Alcohol Addiction includes:
- Assessment
- Orientation
- Stabilization
- Alcohol addiction education
- Group therapy
- 24/7 medical care and support
- Relapse prevention
- Stress management
- Nutritional education & counselling
- Physical education & fitness
- 12-step support groups
Detox, Continuing Health & Therapy, and Family Services are available on a fee-for-service basis.
Out-of-Province individuals may be eligible for treatment in any of Bellwood's programs through prior approval from their provincial Ministry of Health. In some cases, your treatment program may be financially supported by your company's health program. Please contact us for more details.
